My landlord said he would install this if I bought it. The maintenance man was very impressed with the ease of installation. He also had looked at RO systems locally and was even more impressed with the price (3/4ths the cheapest price he saw and enough filters included to last 1 & 1/2 years). It never leaked during install, priming, or use. They say you might hear water in the drain but the only time I've heard water was at priming. You don't have to flush the system when replacing the first three stages (every six months). The fifth stage only needs a 1 minute flush when replacing (once a year). TDS was 125 ppm now it is 2 ppm. Now I don't have to worry about ruining the filter if I run hot through it like my old faucet filter. This system comes out a separate faucet included with the system and I can taste the difference in the water.Read full review

Well it has been almost six months since we changed to this five stage RO system. We later added a akaline filter. This was a replacement for a Dupont 3-stage system. What we noticed so far: 1. The taste of the water is a bit harsh and not pleasant, even though it does smell good and there is no more TAP water taste. The Dupont system made the water actually taste better, but did not remove as much. 2. In the last few days we can hear water being discharged through the waste drain tube outlet. My concern is how much water is being wasted. 3. Soooooo slow to fill water, and no good for large water requirement for cooking, etc. Do we need the storage container? Would I recommend? Hmmmmm....probably not. I am even considering changing systems early to a more simple design, like the one I bought for my son in college. His is a single filter system made by TOTO, that filters even LEAD.....tastes great. Sorry guys.....I am a bit disappointed.Read full review

Watch the videos and read the instructions first. i put mine in utility room downstairs being i had the 1/4 line down there for my fridge and faucet upstairs. I built a shelf and placed whole unit on it. i marked my lines 5/8 inch before pushing them in. Remember to put clip in. the elbow came pretaped except for tank. just wrap about 6 times around. don't have to over tighten fittings. Tighten by hand and just a little more with wrench. i put mine into soft water line. best way if you have it. put a little clear oring lube on oring and the canisters will tighten to no leaking. i did without first and had to remove and lube and then they gave me a xtra little turn. the decals should be straight. My drain line i ran to the floor drain being i was in utility room. I bought a handheld tds meter for $8. my reading is 6-8 ppm. great value. great product. highly recommendRead full review

High quality system. I bought this same system for my house 10 months ago because my city water is hard and I'm sensitive to something makes my throat hurt. My keurig and electric kettle would have bad deposits after only a few days. Even after going through a brita pitcher. My kettle would need to be de scaled weekly. I haven't had ANY scale for 10 months! The water from this system tastes like nothing (pure water). I was so pleased with it, I installed this second system in my parents house to run their fridge and the auxiliary faucet in the kitchen. I replaced all the elbow fittings with brass compression fittings on the two systems because they leaked upon install. Take your time and be thorough. I installed the system under my sink and my parents system in their basement utility room supplied with a saddle valve on a main line that was pre-existing. It surprisingly worked well considering it's running about 50' of line to the kitchen. Read full review

Second day of having it. The installation was easy, just had a minor problem with the first filter housing leaking. It didn't seal right the first time I put it on, but now it works great. I use to have one of those old water factory water purifiers and it just started leaking all over the place. And it was expensive and an inconvenience to buy filters at a retail outlet that I purchased it from. This new express water seems just as good if not better than my old one. And the replacement cost of filters is a lot better.
