All of us know the progressive rock band Jethro Tull and its multi-talented driving force, Ian Anderson. I have been a fan of the band since about 1970. Over those 37 plus years I have listened as Ian's style has changed and evolved. He is really one of the most talented and multi-faceted flautists in the world. Ian and his keyboard artist Andrew Giddings have produced a truly enchanting piece of work here that I think you will enjoy as much as I did.
I used to put down Ian Anderson and wasn't too impressed by his sound, so basically ignored what he had done since "Aqualung" and "Bungle in the Jungle" in the1970s. However, this recording shows off the technical skills and tone improvement he has acquired since the old days. I very much enjoyed listening to this, not so much as an old fan, because I wasn't, but as a trained flute player and musician. I wish I had "rediscovered" him sooner!!!
Bought this CD to replace one that was missing in action. It was as beautiful as I remembered. One would hardly equate the artist on this CD with the group JETHRO TULL but, Ian Andersosn wears more than one hat when it comes to music. He is a HUGE talent in whatever genre he choses to play.
Absolutely beautiful album (CD) in excellent condition!
