This multimeter is big all around. It is large in size...larger than my hand. The dial is 2” in diameter. The LCD window screen is about 2.5” x 1.25” displaying nice big numbers. The new unit I received in the mail has scratches and scuffs on the screen even though it was well packaged. Tested it out and seems to work okay. The black test probe has loose tip that separates from body when pull on it. I had to add glue to secure the tip to body. The button at the upper left hand is a “D.H” or Data Hold for viewing the reading. No backlight is available. The beep for continuity test is not that loud. All in all, it is a convenient meter (not compact one) that offers all the basic testings including some continuity testing. For the price I paid, it is a fairly good buy. If you like big meter you’d probably like this one.Read full review

The sellers are very good communicators, but their supplier/manufacturer has dropped the ball. The meter includes a clearly marked transistor test position (hFE), and has openings in the front for inserting a transistor for testing. However, there is NO SOCKET in the meter and inserting ANYTHING into these openings is hazardous. The meter can NOT test transistors and was evidently assembled with an inappropriate front cover showing the switch test position and leaving the openings uncovered. My suspicion is that this commodity seller was unknowingly stuck with a batch of meters which were assembled incorrectly from their manufacturer, that this batch is being wholesaled to clear them out. Again, not fault of the seller, as they have been good at communicating. If you want a meter like this with the exact model number, with ALL the marked functions active, there are available elsewhere for only pennies more. Read full review

Gave it 5 stars for $6.99. I purchased it to check capacitors that is all. I know it’s not that accurate but it will tell me if the capacitor is good as far as capacitance. I take a good capacitor get a reading then compare old capacitor. I use a $10 on sale craftsman for everything else
