Our dog is advancing in years and has started to become easily disoriented and sometimes run away when confused. We feared him getting lost at night and chose to put a light on his collar so we could monitor his location after dark. Good results so far.

You might not want it to remain on continuously, using up the battery, and it would be very difficult to remember to turn it on, or to turn it back off. It might be useful on occasion, but all things considered, I don't think it is really a viable accessory. Very cute, though! :D

Its cool . They should have a solid white (like a flashlight) light one for dogs who can’t deal with the bunking ! Or, sees only shadows all the time, like my niece’s little dog Bear. At night time is worse for him - dark places etc!

Well made, bright lights and reasonably priced. When running in the woods at night with the dogs, the location of each dog can been seen as a flashing multi-colored flashing light. Great for training and freedom for the dogs with much improved exercise and control.
