If you can get used to the constriction it does help some. I just don't like the feeling of being choked, which is what I experience if I inflate it enough to relieve my neck pain. Better than nothing when the pain gets unbearable.

I started using this but it was really uncomfortable for my neck. I think if they lowered the front of it that goes on the front of the neck, it would work better. When fully inflated, I felt it was difficult to breathe b/c my neck was raised too high. I did like the way it felt on the back of my neck b/c it stretched it but it would be way better if they lowered the height on the front.

I've used this device several times now and do find it helpful with my neck pain. Ironically, in my case, i wear it backwards to get relief due to my type of neck pain.

My husband has a spinal birth defect ' n his neck. Stretching his neck opens the two discs up and allows better flow to head. This decompressor is mobile which allows him to use rather laying down, sitting, or standing! It's comfortable and was affordable! Will recommend to others over the over the door water bag stationary alternative! Thanks again!

It takes a little time to get comfortable with this device as it can constrict your jaw but it certainly provides good lift on the back of the skull. I have been using it only partially inflated to remind me to sit straight (good posture) when on computer and watching tv.
