This Canadian maple leaf is a fine testament to the skill of the Royal Canadian Mint. It is a reverse proof, struck in .9999 Fine silver. The "privy" stamp is a representation of a grizzly bear. Strikes of both obverse ( Queen Elizabeth II of Great Britain) and reverse ( Canadian Maple Leaf- reverse proof ) are strong and clear. The "reverse proof" Maple Leaf is technically difficult to strike , and extremely attractive when finished, as all Canadian Maple leafs ( collector's coins) always are. Quality control in the Canadian Royal Mint is excellent. Reverse fields are struck with Canada's new anti-counterfeit texture. The workmanship on the Maple Leaf is superior in this owner's opinion. The obverse is a good strike of Elizabeth II on well finished fields. In summary: an excellent example of R.C.M. Art in silver, superior in every aspect and criteriaRead full review
