      2001 Toyota Tacoma

      I like how it looks a lot better than the factory one. Only complain is with installation. At first it looked easy just removing 2 screws and swap it out. But when you remove the screws only the red lense comes off. The lights and assembly stay in place. To remove the factory assembly you have to remove your headliner. And remove 2 nuts that are underneath it. I did not want to do that so I used channel lock pliers to break it off. Then clean all the adhesive glue that is under the factory light assembly. The screw that come of the factory light will not work with the new eBay light. I had to use "2 hollow wall toggle bolts" to hold the light in place. Got them at my local hardware store. It is not the sellers fault is bad design by Toyota in my opinion. I left this review to hopefully ...

      its alright

      i like it , i wouldnt say its 10 times brighter , doesnt come as pictured ,i got the smoked lens ,chrome center, picture shows it cut out for the leds ,but it comes whole lens is smoked , its not real dark , plus you will need longer screws #8 1 1/4 long , factory screws will hold it , but you cant tighten it up tight ,to make it seal proper

      I installed it and it looks great. The only thing that upset me was a big chip out of the top of the shell. It should also come with the correct installation items.

      Installation woes

      Not a slam dunk. Had to revise the hole locations and install different fastener’s. Once installed it looks and functions great. Just not a direct fit.

      Housing Leaks

      The light is nice. But the housing is it all that . Not sure if I got a defected product. I installed and put some silicone in the back of the housing as I screwed into truck. It rained and water got into the housing and created fog and remained foggy. I removed the light housing and put my original light back on..
