Installed a complete set in spring of 2016. No issues or problems. DE pool filter works better than ever. Don't forget open filter tank to rinse filters at end of season and inspect them.

I've been using these filters for nearly 2 months and have concluded that the holes in the filters are simply too small. I started with a green pool and the normal amount of earth. After three filter cleanings and several applications of granular clorine the water was now blue but the pressure continued to climb very quickly. I then cut the amount of earth down to half the normal about (about 3 pounds) but the pressure continued to rise quickly. I then went down to a single pound and still the same issue. Finally I went with zero earth and the problem continued. I have now removed the filter completely and the pressure is exactly where it should be (between 14-15 pounds). The filter is simply not good. I'd send it back but I no longer have the box it came in (threw it away since I've never had to return a filter the past 20 years) and I don't want to pay the shipping for a replacement. Very disappointing but one bad filter in the last 20 years is still a pretty good track record.Read full review

Pool pressure drop 20 psi once I put in new filters. Pool running at 12 psi with little to no particles visible. Fit perfect on my Pentair filter.

When I clean my pool filter, I replace any broken filter rids. It's more economical to buy a complete set of grids that to buy them one at a time and the pleatco grids are of great quality and are available on Ebay at a great price. I'm now on my second set having consumed the first set replacing original and contractor installed replacement grids that had a broken support structure or that had already developed tears.

upon first inspection these grids have the same weight fabric, same stitching, and same thickness plastic support grid as the more expensive ones I am replacing. They fit the manifold perfectly. I thought the operating pressure would be lower, less than 10lbs, but it has held steady at about 12 even after adding the DE and a cup of Cyanuric Adic which usually pushes pressure higher. Happy so far.
