    Like Them

    We have purchased, to date, 6 Peck-O-Matics and will be purchasing about a doz more in the near future, as we can afford it. We've had no major problems with the mechanisms sent in the kit except one difficult cup holder clip. However, the buckets we have chosen are opaque (purchased at Lowe's), so that we can see the feed levels by just walking by the pen. These buckets are just fractionally smaller than the funnel in the kit, so we have had to trim the funnels. Otherwise, they work great. We also started each pen with a bigger feed dispenser washer than needed, so the birds would not work hard to get feed the first round. Barely a tap and feed falls out. After the first bucket empties, we change to a smaller washer for less waste and the birds have already learned to make the bowl ...

    good idea but still needs work

    if you have rat problems .they can eat threw the inside of the cone. but i figured out how to stop them for now put very small wire mess that it is used for stucco inside screw 4 screw threw the outside of green cone two on top and 2 on the bottom of the wire mess and so far the rats can't get into the heart of the green cone and it still works good luck Robert i should get paid for this idea $$$$$$$$$$ haha

    Had to modify foot pad so chicks could stand on it and eat at the same time.

    I used a old car tag to extend the foot pad so the chickens could see the feed. It also made the feed tray easier for the chicks to open. Had to order a different feeder for my peacocks to use. They could not stand on the foot pad and reach the feed at the same time. They are to big.
