After seeing this cookbook at my sister-in-law's house, I decided to buy it and am so glad that I did. Every recipe that we have made from it so far has been a hit!! Every recipe is so delicious, yet healthy. So far, I've made the Tuscan Bean Soup, Rigatoni with Squash (Butternut) and Prawns, Caprese Pasta (that may not be the exact name), and have had several other recipes from this cookbook while staying with my sister-in-law. The recipes are straightforward, relatively easy, and generally aren't time-consuming. I don't feel stuffed after eating, but don't feel like I'm eating "light". There are some interesting twists on Italian foods, as well as some just plain yummy options. I would highly recommend this book to anyone who loves to cook and loves to eat!!
Giada's original and innovative takes of classic Italian recipes are something everyone can appreciate-- even full-blooded Italians, like ourselves! Excellent book!

Recipes are easily to follow and well written. Photos are beautiful and helpful for presentation. Some recipes are high fat but I have reduced the fat with good results. My husband has a degree in culinary arts and he also enjoys using this cookbook. One of our favorites is the Salmon with lemon and basil spaghetti. Ciao!
Great, easy and healthy recipes!
