Had one of these Classic Player 60's Stratocaster a year ago and let it go. I've been kicking my self every since and now that I have it back I can't figure out what I was thinking! I've owned a lot of Stratocasters threw the years and still do. This is one of My fav's. The neck is very comfortable, it plays great and the pickups have that classic 60's Fender sound. Go for it. Its a keeper.

This is a decent guitar as a stock model, and it sounds like the seller has made some excellent upgrades, but it is not a Classic Player 60's stratocaster, it is a 60's Classic Series Guitar Center Special Edition stratocaster. There are some pretty significant differences between the two, mainly the stock pickups. See Fenders spec list for all the differences.

I'm always skeptical buying guitars online but as soon as I picked this thing up any doubts I previously had were soon silenced. Fantastic Japanese build on a classic American design you can not go wrong with these. The slim C neck is very comfortable and the pick ups surprisingly pack a punch as those usually can be a bit spotty on some of the newer lower end jap models. Great value for money and definitely gives the American strats a good run for their money

I had the Red one with gold hardware just like this one. Never had a guitar with better sound or playability! If you get a chance to buy one in Excellent Condition for $500 or less, you better take it. If you like Fender Stratocasters, You'll love this one! i had an American Strat and this MIM was much better in every way!
