I just couldn't even contemplate spending $450 on a Stihl for the limited amount I would use it. I was a bit hesitant about buying a Chinese made saw but this one was better than I expected. I unpacked it in the morning, wen't and bought bar and chain oil, 2 stroke oil and gas and by day's end had fallen three trees and cut and stacked the wood. I mixed the gas and oil a little rich and the engine was just fine with it. I need to adjust the Carburetor slightly as I needed to run with the choke slightly engaged but overall it's a really great saw for the money and the 22" bar and the 52cc work great with a sharp chain. I like it well enough but really can do 5 stars but 4 is good.

Bought this saw to clean up tornado damage. It runs well and starts easy so ill give jt props for that. The reason I give it 3 stars is the bar size seems to be too big for the saw. I think it would cut better with an 18 inch bar instead of a 22". It just doesnt seem like the saw has enough power at times to pull a bar this size. Other than that it was a good purchase. I would buy another one. UPDATE: after using the saw a while I have noticed a sticker on the side that specifically says "Engine displacement 45cc". I guess this explains why the bar seems to be too big. It also explains why i have seen this exact saw sold at other places on the internet as a 45cc. For those wondering, the saw I recieved is marked as a Stark model 82100.

I order this saw for my husband. He said it has a lot of power. We have cut many trees up with the saw and it works very well. It's just as good as the name brand saws.

I am pretty impressed by this saw ! I own a farm and have several professional Husqvarna saws as well as a few Echo saws , i had seen this saw which looks just like one of my Echo pro Chainsaws. I figured for the price it would be a great saw to have around as a backup well today it came i set it up mixed up some oil rich gas 20:1 so the motor can break in and ran the saw on and off for 3 hours with no issues its actually pretty powerful with very little bog down on the bigger cuts i made today. I would. Recommend this saw to anybody who would need a chainsaw around the house to do firewood its set up for it as well as large logs ect. If youre new to handling a chainsaw or only have used homeowner saws (low kickback & safety chain) be extra careful this chainsaw will kickback on up cuts especiallyRead full review

For a $100 chainsaw, it can't be beat. Just got it today and ran 2 tanks through it. People keep saying the tensioner and kill switch is crappy. Well, quit beating on the thing. Are you using a pliers to toggle the switch? It's a standard metal switch. Quit hammering on it and it won't break. The tensioner worked how it should. Now, I have had on issue... The nut for the slack adjustment was stripped from the factory. I put some NyLock nuts on it. Not a big deal. Every tank I ran through it, it ran better and better. It was boggy at first and then it started to come to life. The way people were talking in their reviews I thought this would be a complete piece of crap, but, I was completely surprised. The first few cuts loosened the chain quite a bit(and this may have been due to the stripped nut) but after the "break in" of the chain it never loosened up again. Someone mentioned using a Poulan tensioner. I see no need for this. It's comes down to wrenching hard on something that shouldn't have that much pressure on it. Loosen the nuts more. It'll be fine.
