Back in May of 2015 my wife fell and had a traumatic brain injury so after a year of trying many different things to no avail. Her new small ear invisible sound amplifier came and with out a problem and just a few adjustments she can hear out of both ears again. Thank you so much for this product you have made my wife the happiest she has been in a year thank you

Yes you get what you pay for. It does amplify sound (all hard sounds) very well. Problem is !) it's not that small or comfortable 2) the only control is for volume and small range 3) it amplifies your own voice so much you have to talk very softly not to burst your ear drums (slight exaggeration) 4) there is a steady hum that is annoying 5) In the add the only statement I would argue is you can not go into the forest to hear sounds better unless you stand still because the sound of your footsteps would be over power other sounds. I never return items that perform basically as advertised and since they do not claim any medical or specific use other than to amplify sound (they do) I will keep them (the return shipping would not be worth it to either buyer or seller.) I would caution anyone who thinks they might be able to wear these regularly to offset any hearing defect to reconsider(my wife just coughed about 8 feet away and I winced at the loud sound in my ear) I realize they can not compete with high quality medical devices but I would gladly pay more for a better device. These do not qualify.Read full review

The senior I purchased this for didn't seem to hear any different. She said it made her hear less and like she was in a cave. When the battery door got pushed or had pressure on it, it made the hearing aid squeal a high pitched sound. They looked to be made good and had several different ear tips to help fit better in the ear. I'd compare it to an "as seen on tv" type of thing.

I knew that I wouldn't get much bang for my buck for only 16 bucks but I was curious if they would help me make up my mind to get real hearing aids. I knew that these were a cheap Chinese product and I wasn't surprised that one did not work at all and the other was close to worthless. My advice is to not waste your money like I did and make an appointment to get your hearing checked by a licensed audiologist.

Go to an ear, nose and throat doctor. Do not go to an office like Beltone or Miracle Ear...they are there to sell you $5000 worth of hearing aids when all you have is ear wax. As for this product it doesn't fit and you can't tell where the setting is for the volume control and it sounds loud an echo chamber. You get what you pay for.
