These seem to be the real deal. Vtc6 aren't made by Sony anymore (after 2017), but by Japanese company Murata, and they are not for sale to the general public, only to industrial customers and OEMs who build them into battery packs, hence the warning on the wrapper. If you buy them outside of a battery pack it's fine to use them, but observe li-ion safety. They are 3000mah nominal and rated at 15-20A CDR, but can go up to 30A for short periods only when temperature limited to 80 Celsius. Capacity is a true 2900mah up to about 10A, and they will handle 15A fine. Internal resistance is between 12 to 16 miliohms. I measured them around 12-20 on my charger. No other 3Ah high drain battery can beat the vtc6 for voltage sag under load or discharge time. The Samsung 30Q and LG HG2 come close, but can't beat it. My flashlights run brighter on these! Good for vaping up to 50 or 60W.Read full review
