Awesome mic stands at a great price. Durable and compact, easy to use

I'll start by saying i give two stars for being able to hold two mics and they are inexpensive. But that's where it ends. The quality is too poor and they are too lightweight for professional use (my need). These stands are very unstable especially once you put mics with cables in them. I would not trust them to stay in place (and not tip) in an active stage environment. Might be suitable for band practice or to hold one mic in a simple position (like in front of a guitar amp) in a studio setting. Holding two mics is dicey.I have also found that my mics that have their own clips do not fit the threading on these stands.

First off the threads are the 3/8s threads so you need adapters to thread standard mic clips. They come with them but not ideal for studios. They are flimsy and the thumbscrews were broken on both mic stands. I had some old wing screws around so i replaced them but thats not ideal.. If you need a stand that wont be moved very often then fine, but these will not survive any gigging or serious application

Inexpensive yes but not "cheap" .. Probably best for a stationary stand that requires very little adjustments over time .. For the price I don't think you could find a better mic stand

These are non standard mic stands in every way.. small tubes non normal threads.. non normal mic clip threads just garbage.. Broke base tightening screw first turn.. DO NOT BUY.
