Looks sturdy enough, should last a while. Assembly is super simple, you don't really need directions, although an exploded view diagram is provided. The provided nuts are good quality locking nuts that won't unscrew on you while hauling bikes. You will need a 1/2" wrench and a 17mm, thats it. I feel like vertical posts should have included two bolts placed horizontally on the bottom instead of one to make posts sturdier. Works fine with 26" bike with wheel holders extended all the way, but will not work with 29". Although if you got a bit of handyman in you, you can pickup a square pipe of same diameter as the original, drill couple holes, bolt it in, and make it work with 29" bikes. Will take about 10 minutes to position wheel holders for a tight fit. Found it best to place the bikes in opposite directions that way it would have good balance and pedals/handlebars wont get in the way. Provided 6 Velcro strips work alright. The bikes will sway couple inches if you hit uneven pavement, but there is no way around that and can't imagine how much other eBay bike racks would sway that have thinner square main pipes. There is no hardware provided to attach the bike rack to the hitch so you got to buy a hitch pin at a hardware store. My bikes handlebars length is 24" and there is still 16" of clearance to the SUVs glass, so plenty of space to put the bikes up without scratching the car. Overall it's a good bargain for the price, buy it.Read full review
