Can re-thread adapters and chucks that are not a good fit. This saves me a ton of money rebuying all my adapters. I measured nut and even knowing my rotary fits 9/32 40 got m6 chuck because I measured inner circumference of factory nut and it was 6mm. My shaft was like 5.2mm so it seemed right but nope. 100 dollars later I found this tool that adapts what I've bought already. This allows me to widen 1/4" enough to fit. M8×0.75 OR .275" 9/32 40 is the common thread used in Dremel. The RTX-3 SPEED also uses this. Need tap wrench that goes up to m8. The m6-m12 t-type is cheap and look up using a hand drill. Make pilot hole with the right drill bit 1st on flat sheet metal. Go clockwise 3 spins back out and repeat slowly on hand drill speed 3. Don't drill completely through just make hole. Adapts your wasted accessories. It's nice there's an out when people sell you the wrong size adapters and chucks purposely even after consultation. Can use drill pilot point and tap + wrench or tapping drill bit all in one. Can use a power drill going clockwise and back slowly at a 4, too slow will bog. Use oil lubricant to make alterations when tapping.Read full review
