In Puerto Rico Island installed on the roof, after set the preamplifier when it was finished the auto scan well found me over 38 channels. All perfectly without interruptions. Works as advised. As hints outsides zones without heights hindrances it works better reception results by variable signals depending on the horizon place. The maximum catch it will reached if the installation settings was correct then gives the coverage. Asure that the connectors fits, the insulation wires is not open, be grounded so it only will works in the optimum possible operation. Note also the weather conditions maybe stop receiving the signals.

I have a winegeard HDTV antenna and performed very well. I thought this Omni antenna will get the more channels but it seems not good as what I have. I switched to indoor and try out but not good as my indoor antenna in one TV room. Disappointing but I didn't spend a lot.

The reason we wanted to try this antenna is simple, we are spending far too much money on cable TV. We live in what would best be described as a rural/suburban area in southwestern Penna. on the side of a hill. According to the websites we visited to determine tower locations and type of antenna needed (by using our zip code) we learned that an omni-directional antenna would be required. This antenna is extremely light weight and constructed well. It is about 11 3/4 inches across and has a mounting bracket that can clamp to a pole or be used as a surface mount using the two 5/16th inch holes in the base bracket. The brackets are adjustable and well made. The antenna came well packaged with mounting hardware, an amplifier, and appx. 20 feet of white coaxial cable. I really like the compact size and the style of the antenna. It has been snowing here so I was not able to go up on the roof yet to permanently mount this antenna but I did temporarily hook it up indoors about 7 feet off the floor making it 10 feet above the ground level. These are the results we have so far using a Roku 32 inch TV. Without the antenna a channel search provided "no channels found". After hooking up the antenna without the amplifier and simply placing over a valance rod on one of the windows we ran the scan again and the search provided "27 channels found". Here are the distances and compass points from our home that this antenna has connected us to with crystal clear results: 34 miles WSW picking up 3 stations 24 miles WNW picking up 3 stations 17 miles NNE picking up 7 stations 15 miles NNE picking up 4 stations 15 miles NE picking up 10 stations According to the websites that we have searched we should be able to get 38 stations at 30 feet above the ground, not allowing for the hillside to our south. Luckily there are no towers within 60 miles directly south of us. I have researched HD antennas quite a bit in this endeavor to cut the cable bill so I have read many reviews on many brands and styles of antennas. The most common negatives across the board are geographical in nature and have absolutely nothing to do with the quality of the antenna itself. After setting this up, seeing the included items, and getting such good results I would highly recommend that you try this antenna if an Omni-directional at this range is what the websites indicate that you need.Read full review

Had a lightning strike in the back yard and blew my antenna amplifier. Purchased this 1byone antenna w/amp for replacement and am very pleased with it. Takes up allot less room than my old array antenna. Definitely, putting a surge protector on the amp this time. Oh well, not bad getting 23 years out of the first one. Working good!👍👍

Outside the house we mounted the antenna on top of a fat PVC Pole to the eves of our house. The cord ran down the side of the pole and the house and attached to the incoming side of a splitter and the old tv cable wiring attached to the outgoing side of the splitter. Inside the house we attached the amplifier to the TV and plugged it in the electric outlet. The other end of the old tv cable wiring that came into the house was then attached to the amplifier. It works great. We get about 16 crystal clear channels. The amplifier was a necessity in our case and since we have 2 TV's we had to buy an additional amplifier. The 2nd TV was set up the same way. This was well worth the money spent.
