Using this device requires that you solder the pin connectors to the board. This really isn't a problem for me, and it gives the option of pointing them up for use with jumper wires, or down for use with a breadboard. The built-in LED is on PB12 (most are on PC13), so you may have to modify your "Blink" sketch. This device works best if you re-flash the boot loader using the ST Demonstrator GUI and the binary file from Roger Clark on github. This board does not provide a 5V pin as does most of the other boards. The real time clock works well on this board. With some other types of boards, the real time clock is useless.

Good PCB, the solder has wetted the leads nicely, no remarks. The jumpers for the bootloader are missing, but that is not an issue, it works out of the box. There is only one more inconvenience - the red led (power) is too bright and the green led (PC13) is too darker, but this can be fixed easy by changing the resistors...

I wish there would be more instructions on how to use or at least how to program this STM32 board. But anyway.Overall it's useful.

These are better than the Arduino in almost every way. I look forward to more accessories, more shields, more add-ons and more software support
