The 1959-D, like all the later Denver Mint Washington quarter issues, was saved by the roll in large quantities.Even so, this issue is somewhat tougher to find in Gem condition than the ealier S-Mints. The Denver issues seem to suffer a lot more from marks and abraisions. A mark-free Gem, while not rare, is definitely a coin worth saving.
The 1976 quarter containing 40% silver is a better investment than non-solver containing coins of the same date. With the rising value of silver, there is a good chance this coin could escalate in value over the coming years. As the price of gold has placed it out of reach for the modest investor, silver coins as well as other silver items continues to be a solid, affordable investment opportunity.
Product came fast and was as pictured. A very nice coin !
