The 1945 Philadelphia is one of the most common dates in the Walking Liberty half dollar series in all grades except MS67 and MS68. This issue was saved and it comes nice. Strike is not a problem and many very frosty white Gems exist.
Walking liberty half dollars are by far the best looking fifry cent piece. NGC brown label edge view holdered coins are getting harder to get by the year in quality coins. Prices right now are best in about ten years. Down has much has 33 percent from 2012 prices. Id suggest anyone willing to spend the time and money to build a short set right nows the time with right prices. Soon a well matched set is going to be tough and too expensive for the average collector

This is a beautiful, slightly worn 1947 Walking-Liberty Half-Dollar. It is perfect as a gift to give to celebrate someone’s birth year, or to start someone’s coin collection. It was as described by the seller.

Gave it to my father to celebrate his birthday and the year of his birth. He loved it. Thank you.

Although most of the coins for the dates you can get tipicly go for around 9-11 bucks the coin I received was in verry good shape and still had most of the detail on the coin still. I'd say it's worth the price glad I took the chance and it worked out well.
