NAD 310 is a classic budget amp from the 1990's, they go for £100 - £150 second hand. Hated by hi-fi snobs at the time because it uses plastic knobs on the front, but loved by everyone else as it sounded as good as an amp costing twice as much - especially with classical music. When I saw it on sale for less than £50 I thought there must be a catch, but there wasn't. True, there is a small dent in the ventilator grill on top, which cuts its resale value, but its in perfect condition otherwise, in fact Id say its never been used. Best guess its spent years on the shelf of a hi-fi store with other things stacked on top and picked up a dent at some point then got given away as unsellable. Bargain !

Very well received and clean inside 5 star Only I found I couldn't remove the speaker wire connectors plugs to insert my speaker banana plugs any which way so foolishly I drilled them our and ruin my connectors, now had to send out amp for repair as can't use or screw to tighten speaker wire additional expense and courier boo but seller fine.

Great sounding amp (and really, that's all that matters). Perhaps a bit snobbish as it has no balance control and no headphone socket. Hook it up to a decent set of speakers and when you hear it, like me, you won't care!

Decent sound for buttons, really. Pairs up very nicely with quite a few British budget speakers, as well as with my Clearaudio Delta's. No brainer for a second or bedroom system.

A bit bass light but classic Nad sound.
