Hi, I bought this to use with my turntable to set tracking forces, etc. This was is very inexpensive, however it does what i need at a much lower cost than "audiophile" scales. HOWEVER, mine eats through batteries like crazy. I put in a fresh pair, use the scale once, turn it off and the next day batteries are dead. I just remove them when I am finished. Don't know if it;s just mine or all. Otherwise works perfectly!

Measuring a few coins (Which are a pretty precisely known weight) the accuracy seems pretty good for a low cost scale. Mine reads a little high, maybe a little less than 1% high or so with just the factory calibration, which is fine for my needs. The zinc batteries it comes with are prone to leaking and you can just throw those away. Another thing to note is that there is noticeable temperature drift in the zero calibration, so just note that your zero point will drift if you take it between indoors and outdoors or out of a warm pocket. Not a ton, but a large temperature shift can make the zero drift a few tenths of grams off of the startup cal over the span of a minute or two.

One day I ran across a youtube video on sugar rockets. Many years ago I messed with model rocketry using store bought rocket engines. These rocket engines have gotten ridiculously expensive. I have a digital scale that measures in grams, but decided I needed something with a bit more accuracy. This is it. A nice little scale, bit enough to handle the small amounts of "rocket fuel" I'm putting together, and even more importantly the electronic ignitors I plan on making. The scale just showed up today, I installed the batteries that were included and it seems to be working fine. I'll test it for accuracy, then it's off to the lab.

This is super lightweight and works great for getting accurate measurements on the go. Small weight measurement is key. Works well. Use it for double checking weights and measures. Measures g, ct, oz, and gr tl Great for small stones. Specific density tests. Highly recommend with outstanding pricing.
