The screen is a nice 1.1 matte finish and works well in our campy little redneck basement theatre. Low light environment with a bright projector might suit this screen best. We chose the Optoma 131x which is 4k lumen with a 14' throw off the ceiling and the screen delivers the 120" diagonal we were looking for. The screen drops a tad more than I like and not programmable, but you can adjust manually to wherever you like it. We are only a month or so in and so I can't speak about long term reliability, however, I can speak to the assembly, which is fine, for $165 delivered to my door via FEDEX was a steel. It's not a Dalite, nor is the price. The screen material and support assembly is light duty so think twice if you have preschool kids in the room, alone, with the screen down. Mounting was a breeze. The fixed control is stage left... It would have worked better 4 me but I'm on a budget and will make it work. Make yourself ready to do a jig... I mean literally dance around a bit because the time it takes to lower the screen feels like minutes... Had to take a star for that one. I've installed several pro screens over the years and there's better quality to be had, but not new and not at this price. I'm No expert, but I'm happy with the product for the money invested. A side note: the screen is flat so 2D is fine, but not optimal for 3D use but the projector we chose is 3D as well as the Blu-Ray we own and the rendering for an amateur system is presentable.Read full review
Only issues were one of the plastic stoppers that prevents the screen from retracting into the housing was broken. I slid the other one to the center. The remote I received was white not black as pictured it does not work but I think the battery that came with the unit is dead. Installed it with my son and all else seams to work fine.

I have had the motorized screen installed for a couple of weeks. So far, it appears of good quality and an excellent value. Since I have used it only a few times, I did not answer the "Is it durable?" question, Yes or No. Please ask me to review this product after a year or so use.

As a disclaimer, I have only had this up and running for about three weeks and only used it a few times, but I can tell you that it was very easy to setup and use. The motor is very quiet. The reflectivity seems to be very good in my opinion, but then again Ive never purchased a high-end screen. I know that when I compared an image projected on the wall vs this screen I would say it is 3-4 times brighter and sharper as well - just in case your thinking "Ill just use my wall and save a few bucks" - dont! This is definitely worth it! Other notes, the manual control box has only about 2' of cord before the box and then about 4' after which could be a problem (we just plugged it into an extension cord). Also the remote randomly has four way directional buttons when only the up and down actually have a function. I do like that you can stop the screen at any point and move it up or down in as small increments as you want. All it all, three weeks and a few movies in, I would say this has been an excellent purchase that I would recommend to anyone!Read full review
