I have the SIX DAY Makeover by Michael Thurmond as well. What I like best is that he puts everything SIMPLY. He has multiple sources for his statements and cites them at the end of the book, but does not bother the reader with anything more than is necessary. His material is easy to read, and what I like also is that he includes an eating program to go with what he suggests for exercises. I have been doing the 'slow twitch' method for working out as well as his suggestions for specific areas of the body for reduction. I feel IMMENSELY energized and every day that I have been staying on it, I have lost at LEAST a pound or TWO!!! I love Fish, AND I am an 'A' body shape. I am amazed at how much energy and focus I have. I have yet to get the weights as suggested, but ALL OF THE EXERCISES in the 12 day program that he suggests can be done in the HOME. I like to work out in the privacy of my home, so the suggestsions are PERFECT for me. VERY CLEAR instructions, short paragraphs, to the point descriptions. I would DEFINITELY recommend this book.Read full review
