Though it was a "used for 6 months" item, it comes like new, without dead pixels, or something wrong. Price was a great reason to buy and a great opportunity for me even in a Country with abusive taxes (Brazil). I like the image quality. It's amazing. Obviously because it is a 4k monitor. Before it, I had a Full HD "IPS monitor". So I can say: even being a "TN monitor", the colors are incredible. The presets are satisfactory. But if you have some experience, or curiosity, you could calibrate it like I did. The auto upscaling function seems very convenient. Because you do not have many contents in 4K resolution on web. But for gamers it is amazing, because there are not many rigs that can run 4k games with ease. I did some tests with Assassin's Creed Revelations with 4K native and with 4K upscaling (playing at 1k and the monitor doing the rest). Some friends I show it said that in native 4K AC Revelations seems, visually, like AC4 Blackflag. I did these tests with AA and without AA in both options (native and upscaling). Tests with the upscaling function reduce satisfactorily some needs of a high AA. But tests with the 4K native reduce much more, hehe. I did some tests with my cousin's Xbox One consoles and friends (I will do with my friend's PS4 too). They played many hours with my 4k monitor and they said some games had better visual gain than others, but every game had a gain on Xbox One (played in Full HD upscaled by the 4K monitor. Xbox One do not show 4K option on its configuration). I dislike, like almost 100% of the people who bought this monitor, the base panel. It seems fragile. But if you take care, I know you will, it is not a problem for the price you pay for this monitor. Even a price of a new one is cheap (except in Brazil), considering that you will have a incredible image. So you could not require something better than this. I have navigating on the web and saw that the biggest difference between Samsung's 4K from ASUS's 4K monitor is the stand. On ASUS you pay a bit more for a "better suitable stand" and VESA mount. The ASUS's stand turn 180°, and have a better "tilt" angle. The quality of the image is the same. The functionality I cannot say because I do not have this one. I recommend this item for those who do not use or need VESA mount, great tilt and stand that turn 180°. And for those that want save a few bucks. Another thing to say is that the characters are very little because the resolution. For me it's not a problem. If it is a problem for you, change the size of the letters on your OS and everything will be all right. That's all! I think... Oh! I forgot to say that i would to buy another 4K monitor, for sure, if I had a computer capable to handle two monitors, but i don't have, so... I can only recommend to you. It really value the money.Read full review
After reading numerous reviews I decided to upgrade to a 4K panel(4k dot com, great review site for 4k related products). At this website, updated version of this monitor is rated #1 for 4k computer monitors. To save money I decided to buy this "older" version instead. Coming from 5 year old Acer 23in monitor, I was blown away by the picture quality! Texts and graphics are razor sharp. I was truly amazed. Of course to get the most out of any 4K monitor you must use Display port to get 4k 60Hz. The best entry level graphics card that supports Displayport and HDMI 2.0, it is any Geforce GTX 950 card such as Elsa, MSI, and Asus. Just picked up MSI GTX 950 for $120 and I am very pleased with results. Only issue with this monitor is that it's not VESA stand compatible. But the stand looks very modern and sleek, with little gripe of small range of angle adjustability. At 28 inches, viewing area is really awesome. For TN panel the picture is amazing, with over 1 billion colors, and has 1 millisecond response time so it's great for gaming.Read full review

This monitor is a great 4k Gaming monitor. The response is really quick and the inputs allows for multiple devices. I used to use it for my pc and ps4 pro but one of the ps4 updates made it incompatible with HDMI 1.4 that this monitor has for 4k but still worked for 1080p and 4k on pc via display port

I got this monitor delivered to me in 2 days for a very nice price, the monitor has 2 dead pixels on it which are very hard to notice and take a lot of effort to find/see so that is not an issue in the slightest; overall it's a great product and I am happy with it

Beautiful display! Absolutely love it! I bought this monitor for mild gaming as well as mostly design work. Though Photoshop is not scaled properly for 4K my CAD engineering programs look stunning on it (Solidworks and Chief Architect). At this point, I have no cons and highly recommend it. This is my first 4K monitor and is probably the one to stay on my desk for a long while.
