    Good value, good fit

    Instructions are good, just not the best. The inner rail brackets had some plastic slag on the inside that prevented the tension nut from seating properly. There's also some slag on the rail slots. Trim it off with a knife and the bracket will slide freely. I also flattened the curved tension nut just a bit with a hammer on a flat surface. Just a millimeter or two. For me the larger crossbar fit best towards the front of the vehicle (2014 Explorer XLT) and the smaller towards the rear. All done in 45-60 minutes. Very pleased.

    Wasn't what I expected..

    The box arrived, beat up with both ends open. Had it come from China, I would understand the wear and tear on the package. Directions had been photo copied so many times, you can't read them because of distortion. Parts didn't fit dues to particle residue. I had to use a Dremel tool to grind off the residue so I could get it to fit. All in all.. I should have just spent the extra money to get an OEM set.

    Good quality but the parts didn't fit

    Cross Bars were nice but the parts didn't fit & I had to modify the hardware. Brackets were too big so I had to cut them with a grinder to make them fit. 30 min job took about 4 hours. If you're not handy or if you don't have the right tools (or patience) to modify just spend the money & get them from Ford.

    Mounting on 2015 Explorer XLT

    I think the quality of the material is good, ie strong enough, but the quality with respect to manufacturing is poor, ie tolerances are off. I had to use Drexel tool to remove material on all four brackets so it would fit over pin. Instructions are minimally adequate as they are somewhat blurry having been copied so many times. Mounted on 2015 Explorer XLT.

    I could not read the instructions. The copy was of poor quality. The screws provided did not fit properly and were too long.
