It swings between cheeseball and cutting edge, but does certainly helps!!
I'm of two minds that add up to a positive opinion of this book. Some of this book is extremely useful and appropriate. Other parts of this book are mush and unrealistic. But it comes down to the pure discipline of reading a little everyday that makes you really aware of your marriage as a living, growing thing. If you are spending a few minutes a day thinking about marriage, it saves you from the turmoil caused by taking your spouse for granted. It is written in short easy to read chapters, and keeps you aware of your partner's needs and your own actions. Every marriage is different. You might find yourself rolling your eyes at one chapter and then totally engrossed in the next.
