No pros only cons. This is a regular recipe cookbook. Full of sugars, carbs, normal pasta, normal wheat flour products. Nothing substituted, nothing reduced. No attempts to insure low glycemic recipes. If you're pre diabetic, this should put you over the top. They do show vague nutrition info. Basically you can eat about 1 bite of most ot these recipes. Most will spike your blood sugar. Complete waste of money. I bought this one plus 2 others. You will see the same review for both of those. Are there any true diabetic cook books out there? With heavily modified recipes for diabetics or are they all scams like this one?

This book tells you everything you need to know to cook safely when you are a diabetic. I use the book faithfully. It has recipes that are easy to follow and you do use it./ A wonderful cook book just to cut down on sugar!
