This was the first 10 Minute Solution DVD I've purchased. With other workout videos, I would do a little, then sit and wait until I felt comfortable doing the next exercise; I didn't feel like I got a workout of any consequence. With the 10 Minutes Solution DVD, I absolutely love that I can pick and choose which segment to do first, second, third, etc. If I only have time for one 10-minute segment, that's all I do. If I absolutely hate a segment, I don't have to do it. The intro to getting to the personalized workout is kind of long, but I use that time to get set-up (get my water, lay down a mat, etc.). The one thing that does kind of bother me is her instructions, for instance, she'll say "front" instead of right or left. So whichever side is closest to the viewer is the front, no big deal. I just found it a little difficult to have to keep looking up at the tv to figure out which direction she was facing,to determine if front was left or right. All in all, it's just 10 minutes, after watching the segments a few times, you'll know which way she's facing and you'll get a smoother workout. I can say with certainty that I will be buying another 10 Minute Solution DVD, I'm just not sure which one to choose!Read full review
This is a great DVD. I'm in decent shape, like to work out, and want a challenge. She doesn't mess around,gets right into it. I've been a bit sore both times I've done the lower body, arms, and abs. I'm not super impressed with the combo segment, but I would recomment this to anybody. Not a real beginners tape becuase she doesn't guide you a ton. But great for those that want to get it done, with a challenge and make the most of the time they've got.
I bought this video because I like the other 10 Minute Solutions videos by Lara Hudson. Her workouts are just about right for me. I have to say, this instructor's video was quite a bit more challenging. I agree with some other reviews I've read that this workout was a little hard on the wrists. If you like push-ups, you will like this video. Some of the sections are very good, but I'm going to have to find a way to modify some of the moves since I was a little too beaten up the first couple times I tried it.
My husband and I are both runners. We have 4 young kids and run our own business - so time is sometimes just not there. This DVD is perfect because it is broken up into 10 minute segments. So if I have 10minutes while my son is eating breakfast before school - I'll do a segment then. Later in the day I try to find 10 minutes here and there as well. My husband runs marathons and needed something to help stretch himself out - he loves this! The workout is great, relaxing, and you definitely will become more flexible. Highly Recommended!
