I did this in college 10 years ago and she is an amazing instructor! I’ve watched other work out instructors- they’re nothing like her. She has the perfect pace, calm voice-(not too slow or too fast), and explains the moves easily and clearly as you’re moving and in a way that makes it easy to learn and memorize the moves and routine for future workouts. When I was in college, she was so good I learned the routine and had it memorized mostly by the second and third time. And they were so good, I immediately saw results and felt it in my body and it was so enjoyable it made me want to to keep coming back. I use all her exercise videos. During her workouts, I got to see and be surprised by what I saw I was able to do with my body and what it was capable of doing because her routines are so well formulated that you easily go into poses and then realize you’re easily doing a pose that’s considered difficult. She’s amazing. I can't rave about her enough. Her routines changed my life. I realized I was able to do strong poses I never thought I’d be able to do. And she made them easy to do. She makes you want to come back to do it again. I always feel immediate and lasting effects and results in my body in my right after her workouts. This is a very good video if you have done pilates before. The instructor explains things well; however, she does some very challenging moves and goes at a relatively fast rate -- but that is also what allows you to get a good workout in just ten minutes. However, I wouldn't recommend this for a beginner; try Kathy Smith or Denise Austin first, as they really explain things thoroughly and go more slowly. After getting used to the moves for two or three weeks, you will be more ready for the faster pace. (I do 20 minutes a day, and I have seen really good results in just a couple of months.)
I used this DVD every morning when I was in high school, and I loved it! After I moved out, it got lost, and I couldn't find it anywhere in stores. SO glad I found it here! Lara Hudson's voice is relaxing and perfect for early morning workouts. She also explains everything and gives great modifications if you're not ready for a particular activity.
