Picture shows this tape on hammer handle end next to a more flexible version I started wrapping with. This tape I wouldn't recommend for wrapping a contoured handle while expecting a smooth result. Tape isn't flexible enough to conform to variations and will tear if forced. The tape I had previously to this could be twisted and then brought back over itself to create a textured grip like a hockey stick or bicycle hand grip. Not close enough to electrical tape flexibility like others I've used. However, tearing strength is comparable to strong duct tape and gorilla tape. Adhesive is pretty close to a good quality white masking tape adhesive.
