66 Ford Fair lane was fun to build but with minor issues. Fender wells inside come in 2 pieces that you attach to chassis. It can be a little finicky to get them glued on right but if you are patient and have a little experience, you will be fine. Seemed like the front end is a little higher than rear end. Still I recommend. I had fun building it and that's the goal right?

This is a hobby model car, it is designed for those that like to build models. It is a great past time hobby and the model is an exact model of the real automobile, it is fun to build and can be done in different designs or as stock modeled after the original car. It can be painted to detail as the real car is.

This particular one was purchased as a resin donor, but I have built another. One of AMT's better kits of their 90's resurgence. A simple, good fitting, well detailed piece. Better than their original and still affordable. I've been hoping for a '67 revision or a Ranchero. AMT did use this basic kit for a Fairlane 427 and a couple Comets. All options are stock.

I have experience with this kit prior to this purchase. The level of detail in this kit is amazing. From the body lines, the detail of the engine, and the detail of the interior gives the builder a fairly accurate representation of the prototype.
