worked as good as the original but the screws tying to the drive cups are too tight and stripped, so i cant flip the cups to even out wear - i have a very good set of tools that tightly fit the other screws and this is the first screw ive stripped (tools are fine tho). Later i figured out that it was absurdly strong thread locker wow that was tough. i have bought 3 ring gears and all have been chipped apart this really needs to be fixed. someone needs to make a spiral cut, make it from machined steel (or tungsten lol but back to anger), or make the pinion gear larger to increase engagement. It's so annoying having to constantly worry about if my rear diff is going to blow out and these replacements have proved expensive (this is all on 6s btw)

For the price of a traxxas erevo and yhe size of the motor they use you would expect it to be able to be put thru the paces but so far I've burned out 2 rear diffs so far on my erevo im on my 3rd and bought another cuz i no its only going to last abit but they are alot of fun and i think that the revo is one of the best made models on the market today when this one blows im going to look for titanium if they make such a thing but people who own one have fun untill its time to start wrenchin on ur machine.

these differentials just werent designed to stand up to the mamba monster. theyre tiny i couldn't believe how much smaller they are than the diffs in my losi scte 10. these are barely 10th scale diffs in an 8th scale car this is definitely the biggest design flaw of the erevo only 2 spider gears and the ring and pinion gear are bevel cut they should be spiral cut to hold up to a 2200kv motor they are spiral cut in my Losi and it hasnt got nearly the torque, the diff cup dont really hold much fluid either. just a major major flaw in the erevo design ill be selling the erevo asap bc i can tell it is going to be nothing but trouble along the way. this is my 2nd pack and the rear diff is blown on a brand new $700 RC i expected a little more than tht before it broke i ran one 4s lipo setup then the 6s setup and it was toast. ill stick to my Losi rcs.Read full review
