These are great strap locks. To get locks like this you had to drink over priced foreign beer. Now Fender will take care of that and you decide how you get a buzz. I put these on all my guitars including my Gibsons. Look at the pros and you will see these orange washers. I don't like screwing and unscrewing wood. It only takes it so many times.

These strap blocks (locks) should be titled "crap blocks." Worthless and useless. You get what you pay for. Rubber blocks will easily pop off strap, resulting in your guitar falling off guitar strap (if strap hole is worn out for certain guitars). Fortunately had fast physical reaction, which I caught guitar in time. Not recommended, especially if you have an expensive and/or rare guitar/s. Better to invest in high quality strap locks, or replace guitar strap.

Rubber grommets. Can't be any easier. They work!! After you put your strap onto the strap button just push/stretch the Fender rubber grommet over it. That's it. If you have very thick straps than the grommets require a little more force to get them on and over the strap button. No problem at all. I use heavy leather straps and the Fender units go on with no problem. Love them! Inexpensive and they work.

These work just as well as any strap lock on the market and can be removed easily. They allow you to use whatever strap you want on any given day without having to take it apart.
