This tent is lightweight and easy to set up, even though it doesn't come with any instructions. It packs tightly so it can be easily placed back inside it's bag and then lashed to a backpack or motorcycle. The floor is a good quality black tarp stitched to waterproof synthetic walls. There is mesh on the top of the dome, which is held up by two poles that break down and form an X for support. The mesh screen door keeps out all but the smallest insects, and for the cost, this is a very usable tent for 3-seasons camping, although I probably wouldn't try to use it in winter.

Cheap vertical zipper on door screen worked once when I closed it. Had to realign teeth to get it open. Then it got completely stuck in the middle of the next night when nature called. Had to force it open in order to avoid bladder burst.

It's big enough for two people and I am 6 foot three tall. We set it up in our living room very quickly and it's very lightweight. This will be perfect for backpacking.

Just used this tent. It is very quick and easy to setup. The tent is rainproof at least for a light steady rain which we had during its first use. I did spray the tent down wit a water repellent prior to use but believe the tent would do alright without it. Something I really like about this tent is the 5 foot width and the overall height which makes this one of the largest 2- person tents I have seen.
