It just seems to me that the manufactures ar making a fortune off of USB to? cables. I bought this inexpensive little charger and was I surprised. I think I will buy a few more to keep in my car and truck with a usb to usb cale. The unit plugs into a standard wall outlet. The AC plug "fingers" fold in so they are not an obstruction (nice feature) The clip holds the battery securly. The clip faces up. The contact pins adjust from side to side and are spring loaded. The polarity of the battery does not matter. Adjust the pins to match the +/-. the disply will turn green. Plug it into the wall and the charging bars will start scrolling. When they stop scrolling, your charged. How simple can that be.

I was leery about this charger. My last after markets were hard fixed to work with my battery and great but no longer available. This unit could be a fine product if the manufacturer had made set stops for the contacts. Instead, pins sloppy and are not bonded to plastic well. They will pitch at an angle causing contact issues at times. The spring loaded battery retainer is to weak to keep contact if you are not patient inserting battery. Acceptable but could use improvement at the price point. I like the charge screen due to indicating proper connection, (It was needed). Ac plug connection good.

First, the spring clip which is supposed to hold the battery in place during charging is too weak to keep my battery securely against the spring contacts to charge. I had to put a rubber band around the unit to get past this issue. In addition, my batteries, which are listed as being compatible with this charger, have a tab next to the contacts that protrudes which prevents them from making full contact with the charger's power pins. I had to cut the tabs off my batteries to even proceed with trying to charge any of my batteries. Third, the charger's contact pins which are supposed to be spring loaded were very weak, and one didn't spring back out after being compressed. I couldn't find a quick resolution for this issue. While I like the idea of a separate charging device, I can't recommend this particular product.Read full review

Shipped fast, easy to use. Adjusted pins to fit my battery (most batteries have a "-" and "+" sign which helps you align the positive and negative to charge the battery. Pushed battery under clip to get a reading. Plugged the charger with battery into the outlet and it started charging. Charged my phone battery in a couple of hours. Now I can charge my backup battery while using my phone with the other battery. My whole family is using it now so I may have to buy another one. Great value, materials and workmanship good. Easy to use.

I liked this product as my wife has been in the hospital and was worried about her basic phone being taken while she was out for tests or treatment. This way when one of the 2 new batteries I bought her run low all she has to do is swap batteries and she's good to go for a few more days and can keep this plugged in at all times as it is a smart charger that shuts itself off and will maintain a full charge. I liked it so much that I ordered another unit for my basic cell phone battery so if I forgot to plug my phone into my charger all I have to do is swap battery out and I'm good to go without fear of battery going dead while I'm out running errands for the day. I also can charge my Karma One mobile 3G/4G unit so I can use my Microsoft Surface Pro 3 if I need a computer while visiting her in the hospital as I don't trust public Wi-Fi.Read full review
