This is a replacement for my very heavily used 7510βs which developed a bad connection to the right earphone. The 50mm diameter drivers provide excellent low frequency reproduction and the strong magnets help reproduce mid and high frequencies accurately. Sensitivity is very good.

Very good product. I own the MDR-7506 but needed a little more power handling so, the 7510. Sounds every bit as good as the 7506 just, as I said, can handle more volume. I use these for on stage monitoring. After talking to several seasoned bass players who said "use the headphones" that is the way I went. Much less cost than good in ears monitors. It may look a bit odd but the sound is great and they are easy to put on and take off.

Those were both to my home studio, adding to the BEYER 770 and 880 pro, and AIAIAI TMA2. They are much closer to the BEYER 880, very reserved on the eq spectrum, if something is wrong it will shine out. but not like an ADAM monitor where also good stuf could be sound harsh and spiky, the 7502 are also forgiving, and they will compliment whatever there is to shine out. Very nice to listen for long hours, i got relativly long/ big ears, and that is not a problem. Isolation is not like the beyer 770, you would really need to crank it up in to get a leakage from them. Also, Sony is gonna make sure those models gonna float around for a while, so if you are buying them, you can get used to them, and be relaxed that you could get another pair when times come.

My beloved Ultrasone HFI-700 headphones that I had since 2009 broke. And by broke I mean that I accidentally crushed them underfoot. The horror! I knew they had been discontinued for some time. I was lucky to find another mint pair on eBay in an interesting colorway--black with aliens wearing headphones. The are lightweight and I don't feel like my head is being squeezed too hard. Good bass, clear mids.

The Sony MDR-7510 headphones have good sound but, the earpads hurt my ears after only a short time wearing them. They are lightweight on your head but comfort for your ear is not good. I sent mine back do to the comfort issue.
