Unlock Code Instructions for Samsung Cell Phones for All Networks

In this guide I will show you how to enter unlock codes into your Samsung cell phone so that it will be unlocked from your current network carrier such as Orange UK, AT&T, T-Mobile, etc. First you need an unlock code of course. If you don't have an unlock code yet, you can get it from GalaxyUnlocker, select the correct model, and then order an unlock code. Just enter the code that you will receive and you'll have an unlocked Samsung cell phone! Alternatively, GalaxyUnlocker might offer unlock software, which does the unlocking automatically for you. Indeed, it is the most convenient way to unlock your cell phone.

Below are instructions that work for most network providers.

If you are receiving the error messages "Code Error" or "Sim Network Unlock Unsuccessful,  refer to the "Trouble Shooting" section below. This problem is easily fixed and does not necessarily mean that the code is wrong.
Turn off "Airplane Mode" and "Wi-Fi" if your Samsung is an Android device.
How to enter unlock codes on all Samsung models

Method #1 Insert a Non accepted simcard in your phone and power on. The phone will ask you to enter the code.

Method #2 (excludes newer Samsung phones such as Galaxy S3, S4, S5, S6, Note 2, Note 3, Note 4)

Go to the dial screen and dial #7465625*638*UNLOCKCODE# (8 digit unlock code).

Method #3 (excludes newer Samsung phones such as Galaxy S3, S4, S5, S6, Note 2, Note 3, Note 4)

Go to the dial screen and dial #0111*UNLOCKCODE# (8 digit unlock code).

Method #4 (excludes newer Samsung phones such as Galaxy S3, S4, S5, S6, Note 2, Note 3, Note 4)

Go to the dial screen and dial #7465625*638*#. It will ask for the (8 digit unlock code).

(When this method is used on newer Samsung devices, it will say "unsuccessful" regardless of the phone being unlocked or not.)

If Phone says, "Code Accepted" or "Network Unlock Successful" or "Not Yet Personalized" your phone is unlocked

In case you don't get any signal after unlocking, make sure to turn on your wireleless connection, connect the network manually, or pull the battery and restart the phone.

How do I know that my phone is unlocked?

For Samsung phones from 2011 and later:

Insert a non-accepted SIM card. If it does not ask for the code anymore, then it is unlocked.

For Samsung devices 2010 and older (Galaxy S and older):

1. [ ] Network lock

Samsung Galaxy Note 3
There is an error with the Galaxy Note 3 where sometimes when you enter the code it will display "Sim Network Unlock Unsuccessful", when in fact the device was unlocked. Try pulling the battery and restart the phone, if the prompt for "Sim Network Unlock Pin" no longer appears, the device has been successfully unlocked.

Solution #2

1. Power off and on your phone with different network sim card. "SIM network unlock PIN" or "Enter Network Lock Control Key" screen will appear.

2. Type your Defreeze code (MCK code) and hit Unlock button. You will get "unsuccessful message" again but don't worry.

3. Now type the Unlock code (Network or NCK code) and hit Unlock button.

*If phone say "Network Lock Succesful" it worked, but if not, proceed to step 4.

4. If you get "unsuccessful" again then hit Dismiss button and type *2767*3855# on phone keypad.   (CAUTION! This will reformat all your data!)

5. After phone restarts, type the Unfreeze code (MCK code) when prompted to enter "SIM network unlock PIN" or "Enter Network Lock Control Key" screen and hit unlock button.

It will say "unsuccessful" again, don't worry!

6. Type the Unlock code (Network or NCK code) and hit Unlock button.

7. Your phone should now give you the message "Network Lock Successful"

Now your phone is successfully unlocked!

*If this is not working, go to Solution #3

Solution #3

1. Turn off the Wi-Fi on your phone and then turn device ON without SIM card.

Once it's on go to phone dial screen and DIAL: *7465625*638*#
it will bring you to the NETWORK LOCK screen.

- in MCC/MNC field enter code for the service provider your phone is originally from (eg 31026 for T-Mobile USA)

check here for list of codes: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mobile_Network_Code

*If your network has more than one mcc/mnc please try all of them this is very important

- in CONTROL KEY field enter the UNLOCK code
- hit OK
- you should get a message: LOCK SUCCESSFUL

Power phone down, insert SIM card you want your phone to work with and power on.

If you see “phone freeze”, insert non-original SIM card and simply start typing the unfreeze code regardless of what you see on the screen. You will actually NOT see what you type in most cases. Accept with ok. Once unfrozen, proceed with unlocking.

If you received multiple codes from GalaxyUnlocker in the format below, use the Phone freeze instructions above.
