Gold Plating Solution
It's a first time I'm buying "No free cyanide" solution and when you're plating you will not notice a difference with old purple with cyanide technology solution. First I didn't notice any bad aggressive smell, which was great as it was not warm enough to work in my garage so I was just doing plating on my kitchen countertop. As of "Cons" I'd put the only one thing was that it is not enough concentrated compared to the previous solution I used I mean there is LOT LESS GOLD IN the same amount of solution. What I mean is, I had 3 oz plastic container filled with fresh solution and it was just enough to plate like 15-20 sec using 7 volt teaspoon. While my impression from previously used solutions it was just going and going and going... from the same amount I plated my whole Gibson guitar (pickup, tuners, pic-guard bracket, wire plug input, bridges - EVERYTHING), then I plated my pliers just for fun and then car key, then my wife's silver bracelet and it still had it going... As I said this solution not even close it just LOT LESS CONCENTRATED. Other then that, it works and it cleaner with less worries about your health but lot pricier then old type.
