Crest 3D Whitestrips are a form of teeth bleaching that requires a gel to be placed near the gum line in order removes stains and to potentially help your teeth become whiter. The strips work on teeth and will not work on crowns or veneers. The active ingredient is hydrogen peroxide, an ingredient used by dentists for treating gum disease. Hydrogen peroxide is safe for use on teeth with little concentration. It helps remove harmful bacteria and will not harm the enamel. Other ingredients in the products, such as glycerin, are bonding agents used for creating the strips and holding the hydrogen peroxide in place while whitening.

Follow these steps:

• Do not brush prior to placing the strip below the gum line. This helps the strip adhere better to your teeth during the process.
• Pull the liner off the strip and align the strip on your teeth. It should be even with the gum line, and any remaining strip should be folded around the back of the teeth.
• Leave on for anywhere between 5 to 45 minutes, depending on the product.
• Brush your teeth softly after the process of whitening.
