Two thumbs up on the Federal directional tires.
The tires aren't noisy, they grip the road excellent in wet or dry pavement. I put new struts on a couple of months before I put the new pair of Federals on the front. Before that the rear tires seemed a little noisy. I then put the new tires on the front so I have a matching set on our BMW. It handles much better now with 4 of these tires on it. Better than it ever did before. I like them a lot.

Bait and switch
The one in the pic is definitely NOT the one they send you. They send you a solid state one which I've found them to be terrible in the past. They give you a very inconsistent charge rate especially at idle.
