Excellent choice for a timelessly stylish and functional digital watch.
I was torn between this and the Casio A168 for my first digital watch, so I bought both. The Casio gets the job done on the cheap, but for $12 more the Timex feels a lot more refined and put together. Its got some weight to it and doesn't feel cheap like the A168. The display is nice and sharp and the Indiglo works great for low light illumination. Don't be afraid of the expansion band, it DOES NOT pull out my hair! Ironically, the metal bracelet on the Casio does! I actually really like the expansion band as it fits snug (not tight) to my wrist and keeps the watch in place all day without sliding around like a metal bracelet does. I always thought digital watches looked a little dated, but I have actually been wearing this watch instead of my analogs on a daily basis. It looks good with everything from a blazer and slacks to a t-shirt and jeans. If you are looking for a classic digital watch this Timex is a solid option!
