Great for Colonial and Primitive Homes!
These are ideal bulbs for all the windows in our Colonial home and in our daughter's Primitive Style home. We have ordered many times over the years and the quality, packaging and shipping are top notch! Bulbs last a long time and our are on 24/7 in both our homes. Work great as adequate night lights. Can't be beat!

1 of 1 found this helpful The quality and price of these hinges, pintels and shutter dogs exceeded our expectations! Wanting to make our original wooden louvered shutters look historically correct on our 75 year old home meant finding the right hardware and sticking to a budget. We did a lot of looking before making this purchase. These did it all!
They came well packaged and complete ( 12 sets). The hardware is a good thickness and the black satin finish is well done. We expect it will hold up in our WNY winters.
We had no trouble attaching them to the shutters or the house. We DID attach an "O Ring/washer" to the shutter dog to secure it a bit better which was no trouble at all. (We noted another reviewer also did this and we recommend it to others). We get lots of wind in our area and don't want the shutter dogs to be loose.
The hinge has a larger 'offset' than some others which means the shutters stand out a bit farther from the house as they might with other hinges that bring the shutter closer to the house. However this is still a correct and historic application (merely a matter of personal preference). Once we hung the first pair and stood back and looked at them we were very satisfied. They look awesome!
I would purchase these again.
