Great boots

I have long been a fan of Dan Post boots. My father always wore them when I was a kid. Simple good looks, great fit, great quality, reasonable price. I've owned more expensive boots made by the competition and I always question why I bought them. These boots are great; you can't go wrong with Dan Post.

Best deal out there.

Seems good quality and durable. No reason to believe it's not the same issued to our military. Highly recommend. Pieced with a surplus carrier, this is a perfect way to score a hydration system for much less than buying as a new, complete set.

Does what it is designed to do.

This is not for high security. If you want to lock a cabinet to keep nosey people out then it will do what you need. If you are trying to secure valuables then find something else; this will be easily defeated. My only gripe, and I have been this item from several sources, is that it only comes with 3 screws but it requires 4 to do a proper installation. If you only use the 3 screws included to will be making constant adjustments to keep the strike plate in place.
