OK probe
Generally useful probe, keep in mind the wire resistance is about 0.4 Ohms. The wires are a bit stiff.

Excellent product
This works really well, remote is reliable. Setting to a low brightness and turning off the light will remember the power setting and will turn the light on at the same level. Has several flashing modes, including the one with gradual but fast on-off cycle. The remote is 433MHz radio, doesn't need to be pointed at the receiver.

Fixed battery not charging issue
I was afraid trying the product that was pulled from some laptop because this board fails frequently and there could be a good chance that the board is not working. Since the issue with the board could be intermittent, it can be hard to detect. The board worked and fixed the battery non charging issue in my Dell laptop. By the way, it is not necessary to remove the motherboard to replace this board, there's enough near the hinge to pull/insert the power jack board through without removing the motherboard.
