It works but not fully as describe, research before buying
It works for me if I use SD card. But not Micro SD with Adapter
Also, I can only import from the SD card to iPad pro 11inc and not able to edit directly as advertised. I am using Light Room CC and can't open any image from the card.

Good to convert spare SATA HDD to USB drive
It works with non-SSD drive as well.
