BEWARE ... Comcast will still charge the monthly equipment fee.
1 of 1 found this helpful The product worked fine. As a Senior Citizen, my resources are very limited and I thought it would eliminate my having to pay Comcast $14 per month. HOWEVER, Comcast advised that it is THEIR MODEM and I the monthly fee would still be charged. I'm no longer using this equipment and have since purchased an Arris modem and no longer have to pay Comcast the equipment fee. Lesson learned ...the cheap becomes expensive.
