  This was a very hard to find item. Out of stock everywhere. Really happy to find it here...brand new. We made an appointment & finally got Solar Edge to come and switch out our old 3G card for this new one. The new one is working perfectly. just as described...New. Quickly shipped and packaged well.   It works. The old cell chip won’t work and update it would cost $500. Using the zigbee gateway is the way to go. Just plug the chip into the socket and change the communication setting to zigbee and you are good to go. I have the inverter with display, it does not work with the setapp. But this works.

  Upgrade Micro SD card was dead on arrival. SolarEdge Inverter or my home PC wouldnt recognize it. For the sake of time I flashed my own SD card and installed the required firmware. Hardware Installation instructions were very lacking. Material condition was accurate in that it was used, but was slightly worse looking then the listing images because the images appear to have been reused from another sale and were not of the part serial number I recieved.
