MICHIGANDER

The special edition DVD has many interesting facts about the movie and its making, also included film footage I had not seen before. I introduced the movie to my kids ages 9 and 7, they had never heard of the movie. I don't think they thought the movie was going to be a movie they would like, and they were only watching it because I wanted them too. When veiwing they were taken in by the details and authenticity of the film. The special features of the making of the film really interested my kids. With some guidence from me through the veiwing, their were some life lessons learned by my kids also. Now we are planning a western vacation for next summer. Overall the DVD set was a great value and I couldn't be happier with it!

I use this book because it is required for the class. I would make one improvement to the book that would have helped myself in my studies. The examples that go with the exercises should be on the same page. Currently all the exercises are at the end of the chapter. Thus, I was always turning back several pages to see the example problems for each different exercise problem. If the exercises were on the same page as the example problem it would have made using the book much easier. Also, the answers to the odd problems could have been located on the next page, again for easier checking of problems. Overall the book was a good learning tool.
